Our Core Team

ZEROPOINT LABS

Our team's active engagement in practical vulnerability and malware research, combined with decades of reversing experience, gives us the unique perspective of both the low-level analyst and the high-level, mission-driven, operator. Few tools bridge the gap between power and ease-of-use, which Zeropoint strives to achieve in all our R&D.

Our Story

Our startup is born out of UNC Chapel Hill's Computer Science department with a legacy of contributing back to the research community. We encourage each of our team members regularly publish whitepapers, and have recent publications in top-tier peer reviewed security conferences, including USENIX Security, RAID, IEEE S&P, EuroSec and CCS. We have presented advanced exploitation techniques at BlackHat, and expect to be back in the near future. Zeropoint is co-founded by Kevin Snow (Ph.D.) and Fabian Monrose (Ph.D. and Professor).

ZeroPoint research and development was originally funded by the Department of Homeland Security's Transition to Practice Program. We continue to offer our services to Homeland Security and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
